About

Hannah Taylor is a visual artist and educator. She is passionate about many different ideas and artistic processes, as well as about the role of teaching. She sees it as powerful and endlessly fun to meet students where they are and watch them learn new things.

She graduated with an MFA in Studio Art from Louisiana Tech University in 2019, and taught art at South Louisiana Community College from 2019 to 2026. In addition to teaching at the college level, Hannah teaches small-group watercolor workshops and takes commissions for custom pet portraits.

Her most recent personal artwork focuses on the theme of the divine in the everyday, especially in nature, using color and luminosity to capture the emotion.
